Answers:

(Q) What is your idea of what a press release is to contain?

(A) While there could be many answers to that we consider a press release to be something that promotes an idea or product that is newsworthy or of benefit to many people. The mere fact that someone is selling an item or product does not in and of itself make it a quality press release.

(Q) Do you publish all releases that are submitted to you?

(A) There can be reasons why a release is not published by Universal Newswire. Those reasons are due to sexually explicit content, profanity within the release, as well as anything that could be cause for legal action such as slander, libel etc. These are just some of the reasons a release would not be published.

We will not publish any releases that are racist or sexist.

Universal Newswire also reserves the right to hold any press release back from distribution. Universal Newswire publishes press releases that are announcing events, products, services, etc. from companies and organization of all sizes. However, we do not consider content designed to promote products or services as press releases, and therefore such content will not be distributed.

WE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE ANY PRESS RELEASES THAT WE CONSIDER SPAM.

(Q) What is meant by the impression numbers located at the bottom of my paid release? Is that the number of different people or entities that have viewed my release?

(A) The number you are referring to does not mean that is the number of times your release has been viewed. That number includes the total clicks whether it is the entire page or even a web bot.
